Dear St. Raphael Families,

We hope this newsletter finds you well and ready to enjoy some highlights from recent events and updates on what’s coming up!

Global Day of School Play Recap
 The Global Day of School was a tremendous success! Our campus was alive with excitement as students brought board games, toys, sports equipment, and other treasures to share. Laughter filled the air as our students engaged in meaningful play. Many even requested this become a daily event—while we’d love that, it’s not quite feasible!

This day highlighted the importance of unstructured play, which allows kids to grow essential life skills like creativity, communication, independence, and sharing. We encourage you to continue fostering this at home. Even when boredom strikes, it’s an opportunity for your children to grow their patience and inventiveness.

Let’s work together to slow down, embrace the moment, and enjoy the beauty of outdoor play and exploration!

Upcoming Event: Rio Carnivál Auction Night!
 Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 22nd, and join us at the Rincon Beach Club for a vibrant evening celebrating St. Raphael School with the theme Rio Carnivál! 

This is our second main fundraiser of the year, and it promises to be a night of fun, laughter, and community—all in support of our incredible school!

 Tickets are on sale now—click here to reserve yours!
  Family Contributions: Each family is required to fulfill their $300 auction commitment through monetary donations, gift cards, or services. You can also ask local businesses like nail salons, barber shops, restaurants, or stores to support our cause. Every bit helps!

Together, let’s make this an unforgettable night supporting our amazing students, teachers, and programs.

Reminder: No School Friday or Monday
 Enjoy a well-deserved four-day weekend this Friday and next Monday. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready to continue learning!

A Prayer for Valentine’s Day 
 Dearest Heavenly Father,

            I want to thank you for the precious gift of love you have given to the world and to me. Thank you for blessing me every day with this love and the power and strength that I get from you every single day. Without your love for me I can't be.... I can't function.... I can't even breathe...because I NEED your love to sustain me. It's like food and medicine for my soul Lord.

            Please continue to let me feel your comforting love in my life and Lord, I give myself over to you to perfect in me this gift of love...that I may be able to express it and share it with others. Lord...I have not always been good at this...forgive me. Lord...some people are harder to love than others...but I want to be like your Son Jesus...so please continue the work you are doing in my heart so my heart will be like yours. In Jesus’ name I pray.
