Oh, what a night it was! We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Shelley Van Wyk and the incredible auction committee for orchestrating a record-breaking event! Your support and generosity made it a memorable celebration of our phenomenal community. A special thank you to all the attendees and families who contributed to the success of this year's auction. Your involvement is truly appreciated – thank you, thank you, thank you!
Next Wednesday, we will step into the Lenten Season with Mass at 10:45 AM for Ash Wednesday. While Ash Wednesday is not a Holy Day of Obligation, it is a profoundly significant day in our faith. As we receive ashes on our foreheads, we are reminded of our mortality and our call to repentance—“Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” This sacred season invites us to deepen our relationship with Christ through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, walking with Him on His journey to the Cross.
Lent is a time of renewal and grace, an opportunity to reflect on Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice and grow in holiness. It is a season of conversion, calling us to turn away from sin and embrace God’s mercy. As a school community, we will observe this journey together. Please join us each Friday in Lent for Stations of the Cross at 1:15 PM in the church, where we will prayerfully reflect on Jesus’ Passion.
Additionally, Fridays during Lent offer a delightful treat – indulge in our $5 grilled cheese sandwiches served with fruit, accompanied by tortilla chips and homemade salsa for $2. Lunch is served from 12:00 – 12:35 PM, so please ensure your child has money for this delicious meal. Parents, feel free to join us for a grilled cheese anytime – a perfect way to connect with our school community!
May this Lenten journey draw us closer to Christ as we embrace His love and sacrifice with open hearts.

Prayer as we prepare for Lent:
Invite Us Deeper
Almighty and ever living God,
you invite us deeper into your world, your people, your Lent.
May this time be one of outward focus;
seeking you in those we often ignore.
Help us live a Lent focused on freedom, generosity, and encounter.
Give us hearts hungry to serve you
and those who need what we have to give.
