Dear St. Raphael Families,
It’s hard to believe that we’re already in the middle of January! It was such a joy to welcome all the students back to campus last week and to see their faces light up as they reunited with their friends. Moments like these remind us of the vibrant community we are blessed to share.
This past Sunday, we celebrated the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, which marks the conclusion of the Christmas season and the beginning of Ordinary Time. This significant feast reminds us of Jesus' humility as He stepped into the waters of the Jordan River, affirming His mission to bring salvation to all. At His baptism, the heavens opened, and God declared, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased." (Matthew 3:17). It is also a time to reflect on our own baptism and the call to live as beloved children of God, sharing His light with the world.
As we transition into Ordinary Time, we embark on a season of reflection and growth. It is a time to live our faith in the everyday moments, watching and waiting for Christ’s Second Coming while trusting in His abiding presence in our lives.
In other exciting news, as mentioned in my recent newsletters, our school is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Tommy Hilfiger as our uniform provider! A dedicated online store tailored to our school will be available soon. I will share more details once it is ready. Thank you for your patience and understanding, especially as we navigated the unexpected closure of Dennis Uniform. We are confident that this transition will offer our families a wonderful new option.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our school community. May God bless you and your families abundantly this week!
