Dear St. Raphael Families,
Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day to you all! As we enjoy this extended weekend, let’s take a moment to reflect on the powerful legacy of Dr. King, whose unwavering commitment to peace and nonviolence continues to inspire us. One of his quotes that truly resonates with me is, “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” Such powerful words remind us to stand firm in our values, no matter the circumstances. I’d love to hear—what part of Dr. King’s message speaks to you most?
On another exciting note, we’re thrilled to announce that preparations for our second main fundraiser of the year are in full swing! Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 22, when we’ll come together at the stunning Rincon Beach Club to celebrate our annual auction with the vibrant theme of Rio Carnivál! ✨
This is a night you won’t want to miss—a chance to enjoy a fabulous evening while supporting the incredible students, staff, and programs of St. Raphael School. Tickets are available now—grab yours by clicking here.
We’re also asking each family to fulfill their family commitment by contributing $300 or the equivalent in gift cards or services. It’s the perfect opportunity to reach out to your favorite nail salon, barber, local store, or restaurant to support our school community!
Let’s make this a truly memorable evening of fun, generosity, and togetherness. I can’t wait to see all of you there!

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Prayer
I am weak in the faith; strengthen me. I am cold in love; warm me and make me fervent, that my love may go out to my neighbor. I do not have a strong and firm faith; at times I doubt and am unable to trust you altogether. O Lord, help me.
