Dear St. Raphael School Families and Friends, 

It’s hard to believe that the rain keeps coming!  As I reflect on these past storms, it’s remarkable to see how clear the skies are, how crisp and green the mountains look, how flowers are blooming all over, and how the local creeks are rushing with water.  The rain brings life, and the waters clean the dirt and grime.  Rain is just like the Sacrament of Reconciliation. It cleanses our soul, renews our life, and makes us ready to shine.  Next week, our students in grades 3 – 8 will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and our second graders will celebrate their First Reconciliation on Thursday. We are excited to share this beautiful Sacrament with our students as they will be beacons of Christ’s light for all to see. 

Registration week begins today for the 2023-2024 school year.  Information for registration went home two weeks ago. All registration takes place online through Gradelink.  Full registration entails completing the Gradelink application process and paying a minimum of $200 for registration.  Please note that if you do not register your child by March 20, families on our waitlist will be given the opportunity to register.  Thank you in advance for securing your children’s enrollment for next year. Please join us each Friday in Lent as the 8th graders present the Stations of the Cross for our community at 1:15 p.m. in the church. 

Every Friday during Lent, we are selling $5 grilled cheese sandwiches served with fruit.  You can also purchase tortilla chips with homemade salsa for $2.  Please make sure to send your child/ren to school with money for lunch.  Remember you can always come for a grilled cheese and enjoy lunch with your child, too!  Lunch is served from 12 - 12:35 pm.

April 6: Holy Thursday. Noon Dismissal.

April 7 – 16: Easter Vacation
