Dear St. Raphael School Families,
I hope this message finds you well. As we move forward into another exciting week at St. Raphael School, I wanted to take a moment to share some "proud principal" moments and update you on our progress towards our Annual Fund goal.
Last week, we witnessed a heartwarming display of leadership and camaraderie right here on our campus. We opened a brand new pickleball court, and the enthusiasm among our students was contagious. The kids were not only excited to learn and play this new activity, but they also demonstrated an incredible sense of community. To ensure everyone had a chance to enjoy the court, we needed some organization. Thinking outside the box, I approached an 8th grader and asked for their help in coordinating pickleball games during recess and lunch. To my delight, the student eagerly embraced this opportunity to lead and contribute to our school.
But the story doesn't end there. After seeing the positive impact of this initiative, another 8th grader, Samuel, also stepped forward to assist. Together, Lincoln and Samuel took on the role of organizing teams, pairing big buddies with little buddies, keeping score, and managing the flow of students eager to play. Witnessing the willingness of our students to support and organize activities for their peers, and the level of organization and responsibility they displayed, truly warms my heart. So, please join me in applauding Lincoln and Samuel for their outstanding leadership – way to go!
I'm thrilled to report that we are making remarkable progress towards our Annual Fund goal of $50,000! It's incredible to see the generosity and support from our school community. If you haven't had a chance to contribute or share our Annual Fund information with your family and friends, it's not too late.
Every donation counts, and as we approach 100% participation, it becomes even more impactful. Your participation percentage is vital as we apply for grants that directly benefit all our students. Please consider clicking here to donate and help us not only reach our goal but also achieve 100% participation.
Let's continue to work together to create a brighter future for our students and strengthen the bonds of our school community.
Thank you for your unwavering support, and I look forward to sharing more inspiring moments with you in the weeks ahead.

During the next five weeks, please pray the rosary as a family. Each newsletter will contain one of the joyful mysteries.
First Joyful Mystery – The Annunciation Spiritual Fruit: Humility
The Angel Gabriel declares Mary as the handmaid of the Lord. She will conceive by the Holy Spirit and bear a Son who will be called the Son of the Most High. Mary accepts this honor, while also accepting, without fully understanding, the pain and sorrow that would accompany its fulfillment. This mystery teaches us that even the purest joy we experience in this life necessarily entails suffering. It is with full reliance and trust in God that we can accept our suffering to fulfill our mission and forward God’s plan of salvation with humility and love.
