Dear St. Raphael Families,
Welcome back! I hope this message finds you well and filled with excitement as we begin another fantastic school year. As we embark on the 2024-2025 academic journey, I want to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to all our new families joining the St. Raphael community. We are thrilled to have you with us and look forward to creating many wonderful memories together.
At St. Raphael School, our mission is to provide a holistic education that nurtures growth in mind, body, and spirit. We are committed to upholding our high academic standards while fostering a love for lifelong learning in each of our students. Our dedicated team of teachers and staff is passionate about creating a stimulating and supportive environment where every student can thrive.
While academic excellence is a cornerstone of our community, we equally emphasize the spiritual growth of our students. We are steadfast in our commitment to nurturing each child's relationship with Jesus Christ. Through prayer, religious education, and opportunities for service and reflection, we aim to instill values of compassion, empathy, and love in the hearts of our students.
As we start the new school year, I’d like to remind everyone of a few important guidelines for drop-off and pick-up:
Drop-Off and Pick-Up: Please remember that students must be dropped off and picked up in the parking lot, not on St. Joseph Street. This is for the safety of everyone.
First Bell: The first bell rings at 7:50 a.m., and classroom doors will open at this time to ensure that classes begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. Our teachers are eager to maximize every moment of instructional time, so please make sure your child arrives on time.
Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, you’ll need to sign your child in at the tardy table or the front office and ensure they have a tardy slip.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in keeping our students safe and ensuring a smooth start to each school day.
We are excited about all that this school year holds and look forward to working together to make it a great one!

A prayer for the new school year:
Father of all mercies
We ask that You would bless
the youngest and littlest of learners,
the most helpless and powerless of persons,
with Your infinite and loving mercy,
granting them the strength to learn, concentrate,
and act in love towards
their teachers and fellow students.
We also ask that You would watch over them,
at home and at school
and give them proper direction
so that they may learn
of Your wonderful virtues.
We ask this in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen
