Welcome back! I hope this letter finds you well, filled with excitement and anticipation for the upcoming school year. As we embark on the 2023-2024 academic year, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all our new families joining our St. Raphael community. We are thrilled to have you as part of our family, and we look forward to creating lasting memories together.
At St. Raphael School, our mission is to provide a holistic education that fosters growth in mind, body, and spirit. As we continue to uphold our high academic standards, we strive to nurture each student's intellectual curiosity and foster a love for lifelong learning. Our dedicated team of teachers and staff are committed to creating a stimulating and supportive environment where every student can thrive.
While academic excellence is a priority, we also recognize the importance of nurturing our students' spiritual growth. We remain steadfast in our commitment to strengthen each student's relationship with Jesus Christ. Through prayer, religious education, and opportunities for service and reflection, we aim to instill values of compassion, empathy, and love in our students' hearts.
I am also delighted to introduce our new pastor, Father Rolando "Rolly" Clarin, who will be joining our St. Raphael family this year. Father Rolly brings with him a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a deep commitment to guiding our community in faith. We look forward to the spiritual guidance and support he will provide to both students and families alike.
Here are a few reminders about dropping off and picking up your children. As per the handbook, students need to be dropped off and picked up in the parking lot, NOT on St. Josephs Street. This is for the safety of everyone. The first bell rings at 7:50 a.m. and the classroom doors will open at this time to ensure that class begins on time at 8:00 a.m. Our teachers want to make the most of every moment of instructional time, so please do not arrive late! If you are late, you will need to sign your child in at the tardy table or front office and make sure that your child has a tardy slip. We all thank you for your cooperation in ensuring that all our children are safe!

A prayer for the new school year:
Father of all mercies
We ask that You would bless
the youngest and littlest of learners,
the most helpless and powerless of persons,
with Your infinite and loving mercy,
granting them the strength to learn, concentrate,
and act in love towards
their teachers and fellow students.
We also ask that You would watch over them,
at home and at school
and give them proper direction
so that they may learn
of Your wonderful virtues.
We ask this in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen
