I hope this message finds you well and filled with joy as we reflect on some recent highlights and look forward to exciting events ahead.
Firstly, let us extend our heartfelt congratulations to our 2nd graders who celebrated their First Holy Communion this past Saturday. Witnessing their innocence and eagerness as they received Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time was truly heartwarming. We are immensely grateful to Mrs. Gosney for her tireless dedication in preparing these young souls for this sacred sacrament. We also express our gratitude to Father Rolly for making this day memorable for everyone and for his reminder that each reception of the Eucharist is a profound encounter with Our Lord and Savior.
As we continue to celebrate moments of significance, we now turn our attention to our remarkable teachers as we observe Teacher Appreciation Week. Their unwavering commitment and passion for educating our children are truly commendable. I encourage each of you to take a moment this week to express your gratitude to our teachers for their hard work and dedication.
Looking ahead, we are eagerly anticipating our annual Jog-a-Thon scheduled for this Friday. It's a day filled with excitement as our students run to support our school. Please ensure that your child starts the day with a nutritious breakfast to fuel their energy. The schedule for the day is as follows:
• Preschoolers: 9:00 am • Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten: 9:30 – 9:50 am • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders: 9:55 – 10:25 am • 4th and 5th graders: 10:30 – 11:00 am • 6th - 8th graders: 11:05 – 11:35 am
We extend our sincere appreciation to the sponsors of this year's Jog-a-Thon. Please keep an eye out for their logos in our e-newsletter and consider their services for your future needs. Additionally, reaching out to neighbors, friends, and family for small donations of $5 or $10 can make a significant impact in helping us achieve our goal of surpassing $40,000 this year.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our students.

To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
