Dear St. Raphael School Families and Friends,

During some personal Lenten reflection time, I read when Jesus told his disciples that Our Father knows all of our needs, and that first and foremost, we must seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.  “Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself.” What a great message for the beginning of the Lenten journey to remind us that God is in charge and we must put our trust in Him. During this wonderful season, please find ways to remember the wonderful faith-forming experiences and bring those encounters with us as we walk through life with our families, friends, and neighbors.  Please join Bishop Barron’s daily Lenten reflections by signing up at

Thank you to all of the families that have made their $100 donation for the annual school auction.  If you have not been able to make your donation, please drop it off in the school office as soon as possible.  We have lowered the family commitment from $300 to $100 this year due to the pandemic but do need family support for this wonderful event!

Registration for the 2021-2022 school year is right around the corner and our current families will have a full week to register from March 15 – March 22.  The registration process is online this year once again and it’s very important for our school families to register on time as we have a waitlist for every grade level for next year already.  If you do not register, you are in jeopardy of losing your spot for next year.

Please join us every Friday during Lent as our 8th graders walk us through the Living Stations of the Cross.  Stations of the Cross symbolizes our walk with Jesus Christ on His last day on Earth as a man.  This year we will be streaming the Living Stations of the Cross via our Facebook page ( on the school field.  Stations begin at 11:00 am.

Important Dates:
March 5: Stations of the Cross. End of the 2nd Trimester.
March 12: Stations of the Cross
March 15-22:  Registration for the 2021-2022 school year.

In Mary’s Love,

Ms. Michelle Limb, Principal

Simeon said to Mary his mother: "This child is destined to be the downfall and the rise of many in Israel, a sign that will be opposed. And you yourself shall be pierced with a sword, so that the thoughts of many hearts will be laid bare." O Mother of my Savior,
you stand beside Your Son.
With love beyond all telling,
you share His grief as one.
How shall I know your sorrow,
your tears beyond compare?
Deep in my heart stand watching,
and call my memory there.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

A man named Simon of Cyrene, was coming in from the fields, and they pressed him into service to carry the Cross.

Simon, coming in from the fields,
was pressed to carry Your cross.
Did he come to know You, Lord,
walking by Your side?
By Your meeting with the Cyrenean,
may we find You in the stranger,
and in the needy we meet.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

He who welcomes You, welcomes me; and he who welcomes me, welcomes Him who sent me. And I promise that whoever gives a cup of cold water will not want for a reward.

A woman named Veronica
kindly washed Your face with a towel.
Such a simple thing!
A towel, a cup of water, a loving word.
By Your meeting with Veronica, Lord,
help us value such small things,
so great when given in Your name.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be
