Dear St. Raphael School Families and Friends,

We want to thank the Santa Barbara Public Health Department, Santa Barbara County Education Office, Cottage Hospital, and Lompoc Valley Medical Center.  All of our staff has had the opportunity to receive the COVID-19 vaccine! This is great news as we work together to stop the spread of this virus!

The past few weeks have been proud principal moments as our former students continue to rise to the top and receive recognition from their schools and peers as outstanding individuals.  Our local high schools are celebrating their homecomings, and not surprising, the homecoming courts at both Bishop Garcia High School and Dos Pueblos High School are filled with our alumni. Congratulations to Kaili Falk, Itzayana Ramirez-Santos, and Kayla Reid for their peer selection to the Dos Pueblos homecoming court, and to Ben Boeddeker, Emma Carty, Devin Goodwin, Evelyn Pazos-Ramirez, and Connor Streett for their selection to the Bishop Garcia Diego homecoming court.  You have all made St. Raphael School proud!

Our annual school auction is less than a month away as we look forward to Celebrating Community!  Tickets to attend the event virtually are $25 and gives you a chance to win a trip to Hawaii. You will receive an email with an exclusive link to the event.

Please join us every Friday during Lent as our 8th graders walk us through the Living Stations of the Cross.  Stations of the Cross symbolizes our walk with Jesus Christ on His last day on Earth as a man.  This year we will be streaming the Living Stations of the Cross on the school field via our Facebook page (  Stations begin at 11:00 am.

March 26:  Stations of the Cross at 11:00 am

In Mary’s Love,

Ms. Michelle Limb, Principal

Joseph of Arimathea gave Jesus His own burial cave because Jesus didn’t have a place to be buried. Joseph was another one of Jesus’ friends who took a risk to help Him.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

Even when things look very difficult and sad, there is always hope that God can bring new life.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

St. Raphael, Pray for Us!
